Berklee Online is much more than music.

As a long time student of Berklee Online, I have come to realise that my music degree is much more than making music. Firstly, there is the great camaraderie amongst students, but even more valuable than networking, is the aspect of critical thinking.

This applies to all aspects of your life, your relationships, your work, your reason for being.

For example, one of my subjects was music history. Apart from the facts I gleaned, it was more about learning to research, articulate findings, politics, racism and the social aspects that land us were we are today.

Most of us love the practical hands on experience with our instruments. However, my advice is you can learn so much from some of the general topics - don't be afraid of them.
